BRIEF HISTORY

Barangay Maloma is one of the largest and most vibrant barangays in San Felipe, Zambales. Originally a quiet farming and fishing community, it has grown into a thriving residential and agricultural hub while preserving its rich traditions and natural charm. Over the years, Maloma has become known for its strong community spirit, resilience, and hospitality. Situated along the western coastline of Luzon in the province of Zambales, Maloma lies between lush mountains and rivers, offering both scenic beauty and accessibility. It is connected by the National Highway and is just a short drive from the town proper of San Felipe. As of the 2020 Census, Barangay Maloma has a population of around 6,048 residents, making it one of the most populated barangays in San Felipe.
