Maloma Holds Successful Water Rescue Training (WASAR)

Barangay Maloma successfully conducted a Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) Training, strengthening the skills and preparedness of local responders and volunteers in handling water-related emergencies.

The training provided participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in water rescue, emergency response, basic rescue techniques, and proper safety procedures. Through hands-on activities and realistic training exercises, participants gained greater confidence in responding to situations involving floods, drowning incidents, and other water-related emergencies. This program reflects the Barangay Maloma’s continued commitment to disaster preparedness, community safety, and emergency response. By equipping local personnel and volunteers with the necessary skills and knowledge, the barangay aims to build a more prepared, responsive, and resilient community. The successful completion of the WASAR Training is an important step toward ensuring that Barangay Maloma is better prepared to protect and assist its residents during water-related emergencies.
